Standard biological air scrubbers
The starting point for the design of the biological air scrubber was low operating costs and energy savings. It has low water and energy consumption, as the amount of washing water that is circulated is very low. The system is characterised by clever simplicity. Moreover, an additional water treatment can be added, if needed, to reduce the amount of discharge water. The biological air scrubber reduces ammonia emissions by 70%, odour by 45% and fine particles by 75%. The system is certified under number BWL2007.03.V4.
The biological air scrubber is supplied with an automatic flushing function and an electronic data logging system with Internet preparation.
The biological air scrubber can, as an option, be extended to include a dust collector, a system that moistens and removes the dust from incoming stall air before this reaches the scrubber kit.
The dust collection system improves the operation of the scrubber and also helps to reduce operating costs even further. This system uses evaporation to ensure up to a 90% reduction in discharge water compared with traditional systems.
The biological air scrubber is available in a plastic housing, but it is also possible to install this on site in a structural facility.
